Blatant attitude towards Debt Review Clients

I am under debt review and have been for close to 10 years. In September numerous people bombarded me with calls informing me that I have not made payment for 2 months. A lump sum is transfered to my debt counsellor who circulated funds. I was told that the amount of R1500. would be reversed once the counsellor sends a letter to confirm that I am still on their programe. This happened but my money was not reversed. I was later informed that I had been terminated off debt counselling. I contacted Nedbank and made an arrangement to pay the same amount I always had. Only to find that they had debited my account with R5714.76 yesterday. Thanks to Nedbank I am not able to pay my normal amount of R2768.00 to my debt counsellor so i will be terminated off the entire programme too. And my rent for this month won't be paid either. This is how people who are honest and trying to be responsible are treated. That is why the latter part of the country's population choose NOT to pay their debt! I have spoken to numerous people who were of no help whatsoever. If you are on debt review, choose another bank! Staff at the debt review dept are rude and obnoxious!
