In 2009 I was forced to go under debt review. Jan 2012 I got a new job and was able to make my normal payments and start clearing my name - Feb 2012 I came out under debt review and my debt counsellor & I send my 17/.4 to all my creditors. Since then I've been sending mails to Standand Bank requesting outstanding amounts on my personal loan & credit card. Also since Feb 2012 I've been making EFT payments into these accounts - Standard Bank never contacted me for anything. Then early Jan 2013 I phoned Standard Bank to be informed that they receive my payments each month but I'm still under debt review with them - reason is that the NCR DC number under which I was registered in 2009 doesn't correspond with the NCR DC number that appears on my 17.4. During my debt review period - I was transferred from the original debt counsellor to another and this was the reason why the numbers didn't match. My current debt counsellor say they forwarded the transfer letter to ALL my creditors and only Standard Bank had a issue? I agian personally send the transfer letter agian but is still waiting for feedback.
I want to gets this sort out so that I can clear my name. Please help.
