This is not the first time I have had endless problems with MiWay sorting out a claim and getting my vehicle fixed. The exact same thing happened in November 2011. It is now the 10th week without a vehicle and the only response I am getting is: "Dear Client I am still waiting for the correct part numbers on the outstanding parts. I am sure that I will be able to send it during the morning." This email was received yesterday morning, and I am still waiting. Not a phone call, not a follow up email - nothing! Not the type of response I was expecting after 10 weeks and counting! The panel beater was asked to respond to an urgent request with regards to the outstanding parts (splash plate and grill) - no response from West Rand Panel Beaters either. We are 3 weeks away from 3 months of trying to get my vehicle sorted out!! Is this acceptable service in South Africa? Or is MiWay just doing it their way? I am sure I am not going to get better service after this, I have already told them that I am moving my insurance to another company and not even that phased them. But at least now, I could warn potential MiWay customers not to subject them to this type of service.
