Staff not familiar with card ordering process

Having called the Islamic Banking helpline, I was referred to the FNB Braamfontein branch to collect 3 Islamic Youth Account cards. The queue was extremely long and I had to wait more than 45 minutes, just to be told that they do not have any Islamic Youth Accout cards in stock and was then referred to the Fordsburg branch, were the queue was even longer.

I called the Braamfontein branch this morning, as advised by the Islamic Banking department head office (advised me that the branch will be able to oredr the cards for me), but the card co-ordinator said that this was the first time that she received a request from a customer and was not aware of the process of ordering on the customers behalf.

I mean how difficult can it be to arrange for 3 Islamic Youth Cards to be delivered from another branch like Fordsburg- that's what customer service entails- especially in the banking sector where the difference not mainly in the products that you offer, but primarily in the service that you provide. I have also applied for an account for my wife, but I am seriously reconsidering after the disappointing service that I received.
