I had an accident early on Friday 11 October, reported the matter to my Broker Quinton Haarhoff shortly after 8:00 on Friday. I reported the matter to the SAP on Friday night. The quotation was sent to Quinton on Monday and the SAP ref No about two days later. Only a week later on Monday 21st Sabelo called me to confirm what happened and requested that I go to the panelbeater for them to take photo's of the damages and forward it to him, which I did the same day. Then, on Wednesday an Absa motor assessor called me to confirm the assessment appointment? Why did they sent me back to the panelbeater on Monday for photo's if they were going to have the damages assessed? The assessor was here at my work address for the assessment on Thursday - today is Monday again, and I have still not heard anything from Absa for the repairs to my vehicle.
This was a relatively "small" accident and it has now taken Absa I-Direct 11 work days just to get the assessor to my vehicle - not give authorisation for the repairs to my vehicle.
What would happen if this was a more serious accident, will my car ever be repaired??
