I have received a letter of demand from Europcar threatening that they will list me for a scratch on a rental vehicle, which had been rented through IWyze insurance as my vehicle had been. I had not scratch the vehicle as the car rental company claims and informed them so.
According to the car rental the damages on the vehicle amount to R2900.00 now this is utter madness. I will not be paying this amount as I have not scratched the car! I would like an independent assessment done on the vehicle damages as I fail to understand how a scratch can amount to R2900.00. This is a totally rip off and goes against the consumer protection act, how can you give me a credit listing for something that is not my fault. I did not willing enter into an agreement with you!
