My insurance company, Outsurance, booked a loan vehicle from Avis Hatfield. I attended at Avis Hatfield on the 5th of September and was told that I would receive a small automatic loan vehicle. But I received a Honda Ballade, registration number CH82XDGP, instead. I and a witness noted several scratches and nicks. I approached the info desk and asked that someone to note the scratches on the rental agreement. A gentleman with the name of Sam came to look at the vehicle and when I and Johannes pointed out all the scratches at the rear right corner and on the front bumper, Sam only wrote about the rear right corner, on the rental agreement. Sam, in front of myself and Mr Segopolo, said that he was aware of it, I shouldn't worry about it. Avis won't hold me accountable. Today I returned the vehicle to Avis Hatfield and now Avis wants to hold me accountable for a scratch at the front bumper which was on the vehicle when I drove it off their lot. This is unacceptable and just plain dishonest. A ploy to retain the deposit if you ask me. I have been a long time client of Avis but today I am very disappointed and will refer this to Outsurance!!!
