I met an accident & got a vehicle from first for car rental with my insurance. On returning the vehicle, they told me the front bumper lip was scratched. The lip has a scratch across the whole bumper but conveniently the scratch on the bottom left apparently is my fault. I filled out forms stating that I was not responsible for the damages. Its 2 weeks later and I haven't received my fuel deposit. I called in 4 times now and went into the branch. They did not give me feedback until I called in today. They are accessing the vehicle which is why they holding my deposit. I logged a compliant with the customer service department. The scratch is about 20cm. It was the first time I hired a car, walked around with clerk when we checked the vehicle but didn't check every nook and cranny to see for scratches which the clerk should have done, least of all under the lip of the bumper and now I am being blamed for something I did not do. I will fight this as it's the clerks word against mine and I refuse to let another motor company take advantage of me even if its for a small amount of money.
