Not happy with the service

I applied for a credit card and got a call to come fetch the card from a branch and I should bring a copy of ID and proof of residence which I did and the lady at the branch gave me the card and activated the card and dint want any documents from me and I left with the card working fine. two months later I get a call saying they need the documents and will send UTI to come fetch the documents from me and since then i heard nothing from them... three weeks later I try to make a purchase and the card declines. luckily I had money and I paid cash but was very embarassed and a day later i try to make another purchase on the inernet and it agin declines. i decide to phone Absa and the consultant tells me the reason why my card isnt working is because they didnt receive my documents.. REALLY??? and you block it without even informing me? and here I am waiting for ABSA to come fetch the documents. and earlier today I went there to do something else if I knew I would have taken the documents with.. now its another trip to absa? well THanks ABSA.
