First National Bank
None Service

I applied for a credit card with FNB during April 2013. A few weeks later someone called me to say that I have to submit 3 months bank statements. I went to ABSA and got the statements. I then decided to take it to the Woodlands Branch in order for them to send it to the credit card division. On 15 May 2013 when the doors opened I was first in line to submit my documents. The consultant that assisted me that morning was friendly but at the same time very frustrated because he could not log on to the system with his code. He then returned to his supervisor (I assume) who has given him several other codes to try but none of them worked. He then asked me to leave the documents with him and said as soon as the system is up and running he will send it through. He took my documents without giving me a copy. One of the other consultants advised him to scan the document and e-mail it to the credit card division. Up until today my documents was not sent and he claims that he did not receive the documents. Where does this leave me? Why should I go back to ABSA and pay for another set of documents? Every time I call the bank I don't get any joy out of talking to them.
