In 2009, I appoached Debt Sense Partners, who restructed my debt as per court order and payment was distributed every month to the Creditors. Two Banks refuse to acknowledge that they even received payment, and have been harrassing me together with their attorneys for the past two years. Absa is one. The other has been sorted out and has issued a paid up letter after an investigation by the Banking Ombudsman. Absa has gone quiet now and WE (Debt Counsellors and I) are not receiving any feedback on correspondence sent to them. I caanot access any funds because they are holding me back due their actions of passing the buck all the time. And not concluding the matter dispite numerous requests from my debt counsellors and I for them to accxknowledge that the PDA has paid the debt up as per court order issued and that we kindly request a paid up letter from them as acknowledgement. All proofs of payment have been submiited to them over and over again. Still nothing forthcoming.
