Debit order date

I'm battling to understand why my debit order date HAS TO BE on a date that's not convenient for me. I have tried on several occasions to have it changed, from going into to the branch to writing emails. I was told that people that are employed by my company, that get their salaries at Capitec get it a day earlier than the rest of us that bank elsewhere. So my debit orders are always going off before i get my salary. I noticed i was in arrears, i paid the amount, but now the arrears amount is even more than what it was. I have asked for the debit order to be cancelled so i could pay the money in myself, even that cant be done. Its all just frustrating. Had i known this would be such a hassle i would have gone elsewhere :(
