I'm an existing Dial Direct Policy holder, I recently purchased a new house and requested a quote to increase my household content cover and update my address details. So the new quote came to R73 more than what I'm paying. I said I would think about it and refer back to the quote when ready. Today I call back to take up the quote and with the EXACT same details and underwriting questions asked in the the initial quote, there is now a difference. I was quoted R486 on 7 October and today 17 October I'm quoted R560. When asked why, they transferred me to a "specialist" (LEBOGANG M) who asked to see the quote. So I mailed it to him (while we're on the phone) and he tells me unfortunately he cannot give me the requested cover for R486. Naturally I got upset and he could not explain why this occurred (but he is a SPECIALIST). So I would like to be contacted by someone at Dial Direct/Telesure who can give me the cover as quoted because nothing has changed since I did the quote. Or should I rather seek insurance elsewhere?
