During the past weekend I was going through my financials and discovered that I have a Home Owner's Cover from Outsurance and I immediately thought of my leaking roof. The roof was leaking from the heavy rains we experienced during winter season. The following Monday, 14/10/2013, I phoned Outsurance and registered a claim. The assessor was appointed on the same day and we made arrangements to assess the leaking roof the next day at 08h30. We met on the 15/10/2013 and went through the damages and the assessor advised a payout. We agreed and the claim was approved and the money was paid on the same day around 10h50.
