I went to absa bank at Jacaranda mall gezina in Pretoria to renew my bank account because my permit had expired making me unable to transact. I made an error when completing the form, I wrote 8 instead of A. I changed it to A and signed as a proof that it was an error. However, the teller refused the form & demanded that I go to the police station to have a new affidavit to which I answered that all I gave her corroborated that I'm the owner of the account. She demanded that I leave the bank. I demanded that the bank give me all my money as I had no money to travel to the police station. but she called the security to come drag me out of the bank. I was dragged out like a dog. I went to the police station to have a new affidavit, but when I came back I was refused entry, I was told I'm not allowed to come into the bank ever again and if I want absa to help me I should go to another branch, but I'm no longer welcome there. I was called names like kwerekwere. The bank manager told me she had power there. Later I called the call center to register a complaint, I was promised they will call me back but no one called me.
