In June, my husband and I tried to purchase electricity via the easypay site. It was rejected by the site, but the money went through. We then got a phonecall from our bank saying that our bank account has been red flagged for via the Easypay site. We informed the bank that we were just trying to purchase electricity and that its fine. Unfortunately no one at our bank took the red flag off and our account was frozen.
One of the easypay consultants phoned me and INSISTED it had nothing to do with their site, it was all just our bank.
So last week we attempted again to buy via the easypay website and the exact same thing happened. The money went through. The website did not produce a code and stated the attempt failed. Immediately we got a message from our bank to phone the department. Obviously it is the easypay website. Our bank also informed us that they are having alot of issues with this site.
Easypay should update their site, because clearly something is not working right and causing their clients the inconvenience of having to phone the department everytime they purchase something off the easypay site! People should not buy off this site, its inconvenient.
