BMW Care and Cosmetic Repair Rippoff

My wife bought a car from BMW, and with buying a new car they told us that we are automatically offered dent protection through BMW Care and Cosmetic Repair. So then I noticed a few scratches that I would like repaired on the vehicle, phoned Smart Insurance as they provide the service on BMW behalf. Logged the claim and went to get quotes which came to 19k. It was rejected due to the fact that a single claim needs to be under 3k. It would of been great if when we were offered this service that this crucial bit of information was explained to us and that IMMEDIATLEY when one sees the dent you need to claim IMMEDIATLEY, you cannot miss a dent or scratch or notice it a bit later, that's not allowed. I asked the call centre agent to split the claim into various small claims but this is also not allowed. So ultimately Smart Insurance gets paid for doing nothing.
