Overall unhappy claims experience!!!

I was in an accident on the 18th of Jan. It was my 1st accident ever and pretty shaken up about it! U would think that Miway would try and make it easier for you, however not in this case! My vehicle was towed from the scene to 1 of Miway's panelbeaters, however I requested that my vehicle get towed from there to Rapid Repairs as i am familiar with them. I was told that Rapid repairs was not on their panel but that i can still have the vehicle towed to them, however i will have to sign a disclaimer form (which to date i have not) Firstly your company insured my vehicle as a manual instead of an automatic! 1 of my assessors i work with pointed it out! I then got another shock today w.r.t my release fees that Miway will only pay R990 towards the bill received from Rapid Repair which comes to R9085.80 and i am liable to pay R8095.80 because it is not covered! not ones did the consultant advise me that there would be extra costs involved w.r.t release fees because Rapid repair is not on your panel! Then they sent a driver to collect my car papers, but he had to leave without it because he didnt know where to take it? so dissapointed and already looking for alternative insurance!!!
