Most pathetic attitude I received from a bank eve

I made a payment on my furniture city account in August, way more than my debit every month and for some reason my debit that should go off at the 1st of every month stopped. On Tuesday (8 October) a man from African bank contacted me very early in the morning (too early for my liking) explaining that the debit was stopped by my bank. i found it very strange that the problem only started now after a year. He said i am not behind on my payments but must contact my bank to find out what is wrong. Tuesday i received a statement saying that i am NOT in arrears! So this morning at 7 on my way to work a lady from african bank phones me saying that i did not have money in my account. All my debits goes off on the 1st of every month so there will always be money in my account, try explaining that to her! She insisted that i change my debit order date, the more i say i dont want to the more she asks me to change. i gave her another account of mine but she did not even bother to ask me the rest of the details you need for the debit to take place. She didnt even know what she was talking about! Lack of training! I will hold you resposible for any charges if the debit returns! Pathetic!!!
