Change of Debit Date

I received an sms stating that AB would be changing the debit date to earlier in the month. African Bank cannot assume that everyone will be paid by then. They assuming that everyone has salary date changes in December. They should have checked first. I will not have cash then so who will be responsible for those charges when the payment does not go though. Surely African Bank should have notified customers well in advance so that they could have extra cash available for this early debit. I do not have money available the 13th so please do not debit my account.
