"Not So Smart", Smart Device Offe

After my disgusting experience, I need to make existing FNB Customers aware of this rip-off of a Smart Device Offer from FNB - what I call the "Not So Smart", Smart Device Offer, so that you do not get caught-out like I was!

FNB offer certain Smart Devices as advertised on their website: "Be sharp and get a smart device at reduced rates. Get your tablet & smartphone through FNB, with no additional fees, interest or charges."

Well, here is what FNB do not openly advertise!

I was on the Fee Saver Option - under this option, if I maintained a minimum balance of R 9, 000 in my Premier Cheque Account for the whole month, I would not be charged any bank charges for that month. Well, that all changed the moment I signed-up for the FNB Smart Device Offer - the moment I received my Tablet, FNB changed my fee option to the Mobile Device Pricing Option charging me R 150 per month, whereas before I paid nothing!

So, besides my monthly instalment for the Smart Device itself, FNB now also charge me an extra R 150 per month in bank charges - and I am stuck for 24 months (R 150 x 24 = R 3, 600). Previously this was Zero!

FNB gave me 3, 600 reasons why Mobile Pricing is compulsory!
