I went to make a cash withdrawl app. 11.45am on a Saterday. The ATM accepted my card, after I entered my pin the screen went blank. The ATM would not process my intended transaction nor return my card after numerous attempts to retrieve it. After waiting a few minutes I went to my car where I had my phone and called to cancel the card but within those few minutes R3000 had already been withdrawn. STD Bank refused to reinburse me saying I did not contact them quick enough. I was not negligent in disclosing my pin (There were no security cameras in opperation at this busy location). Once the ATM swollowed my card it became the posession of the bank. I want STD Bank to accept responsibility for their bad security and reimburse my money.
