STD Bank told me I was a victim of and they would not reimburse me. STD Bank will not say this on a open forum because they are cowards and crooked. I am a single mother with 3 kids and can't afford the loss of R3000. They will not explain why there were no working cameras at the ATM point in a high crime area like central Pinetown. If there were cameras they would see that I did everything possible to retrieve my card and the length of time I stood waiting for the machine to return my card. (Maybe the cameras were working and validate my factual claims. Thus they conveniently told me the cameras were not working that day so they don't have to reimburse me). If the ATM machines are so easily compromised by then STD Bank should make the ATM owners responsible for losses to honest hard working customers who pay to use the ATM. Please can STD Bank stop spending millions on sponsorships and spend more money protecting the common citizen AND reimburse my money. From a legal standpoint, any doubts or ambiguities should be resolved in my favour.
