I was a victum of at a standard bank atm. the atm took my card, i entered my pin only to realize that when i looked up the actual digits of my pin was displayed in large font. as i began to cancel the number, a man that obviously tampered with the atm came to me reached over and took my card. it happend so quick i didnt realize he took the card until i looked at the machine as i turned around to see why he came up to me. the machine blinked and i thought it had swolled my card, i pressed cancel and nothing happend. i called the number on the atm and stopped the card a balance enquiry showed R2000 was already withdrawn.they explained it was withdrawn from a non standard bank atm, which can be seen on my statement. There are other bank atm's outside the complex minutes away from where i was. standard bank got back to me after weeks only to say they wont reimburse money as it was an atm and said i was distracted, they failed to understand that the machine was tampered with.they requested an itemized billing which shows i made the call 23 secs after he withdrew the cash.there is no security and this has happend in the area before.i want my money back as i was robbed.angry
