I seen the add about outsurance offering to pay you R400 if they could not beat your current insurer and I decided to give it a go. After nearly 45 minutes on the phone with someone from the call centre, we reached a point whereby they could not beat my current insurer. The woman passed on a link to me via email, whereby I had to send them proof of my current insurance policy. I responded a day later, forwarding the required documents in the link provided... that was mid December 2012.
To date I have heard absolutely nothing and haven't even received the payment, as advertised! They are misleading the public with the false advertisements and just looking to extend the client base! I wonder how many other people had to go through the same process... what a waste of time! And the worst part is that their Ad is still running on TV.
When I called in to enquire about this, I was made to hang on the phone for a whole 30 min, of which I am not going to be refunded, and the worst part is, I was told to hold because they were putting me through to the ever illusive "right person"... no message to say they are experience high call rates or nothing!! Very Pathetic
