I have been a Dial Direct customer since January 2006. In the last year, I have had misfortune with my new VW Passat and therefore have had 3 claims. It was only on the last claim, whereby I was not happy with the vehicle that Dial Direct's supplier, Budget Rent a Car, gave me, that I reapproached them and asked them to upgrade my car hire option. In doing so, this opened the door to other things on my policy, i.e. unbeknown to me, my excess had risen from R4500 to R9400!! with my annual premium increase. I called back to say, I have been sent the incorrect email because Im not accepting this excess increase, as discussed verbally, and I got hold of another chap being MARWAAN BROWN, who clearly has the customer's interest at heart. In my time with Dial Direct I have NEVER been told, that there is an excess option i.e. pay more get it decreased, which Marwaan advised me of so now for R54 more per month, I HAVE NO EXCESS!!!
This man needs customer service recognition from his company and some accolade of sorts!!! He has saved me money long time IF I have another claim PLUS I have upgraded my car hire option
