My dad has an account with FNB, its been inactive for 3 months now. Someone deposited money however in this account, but he couldn't get the money, unless he paid the oustanding amount owed on his cheque account, he had to come all the way from cape town to pretoria to sort it out at the branch where he opened the account.
He paid the outstanding amount on the 4th of October, and they told him if he paid it the money that has been deposited will be available, it is now the 7th and no money in his account as yet.
I mean as soon as you owe fnb they on your case constantly but let you just do something right by paying then they forget about you, what the happened to keeping your clients happy???
Its not acceptable!
