Last month i threaten to leave Capitec, and now i wish i did. 2 Months ago i was at Silver Lakes branch, the lady said i should get a new card as i still had the old one, so i did - and nobody told me i would be charged for a new card that i didnt need but i left it there. Today i arrive at the branch, 5 consultants with no other customers. the guy at the the door gives me a ticket and tells me to go sit and they will help me, after sitting a few minutes eventually the guy at the door walked to his desk and calls me over. i explain him my 3month old Key ring token is not working and the call center said i must take it in to the branch and they will replace it if they deem i didnt mishandled it. he looks at it, picks up the phone to call the call center, and he doesnt even know the call center number, shouting to his friends they shout back him the number. after the call without consulting me he tells me he is going to give me a replacement and starts filling in my details. Out of exp i stoped him and asked if i would be charge and he says yes... WHY? its software! CPA states you need to replace/refund or repair it, atleast tell me they will take it and send it in.. this branch is %$
