I went to ABSA randburg on Tuesday 1st October 13 to open a business account and was told that I need to make an appointment with a consultant which they could only give me for 9am on Wed. I was made to wait till 9:30am before I could see the consultant at which time I was told one of my papers was incorrect and that the next appointemt would be 9:30am on Thursday. At this time everything was correct and the consulant tried to load the account but the computer blocked him and he said it would be sorted out within a day. On calling him today he tells me that he cannot tell me when the account can be opened and gives me 2 choices - send him an email which he will excalate or GO TO ANOTHER BANK. I have been with ABSA for over 25 years - I am SHOCKED that I am being treated in this fashion. This is service in its lowest form
