On 19/11 I applied for a savings transact acc online, attached all doc's as requested and confirmation of receipt was sent back with a promise a 'consultant will get back to me shortly'. Nobody came back to me until I phoned in myself (21/11) and to my 'shock' the consultant I spoke to indicated there are no records at all from me about the account I want to open. SO ABSA, WHERE ARE MY DOCS? IS YOUR SYSTEM NOT IN ORDER? ARE YOU REALLY AWARE OF IDENTITY / going on out there? I'm freaked out... He then passed me onto someone who was only interested in me opening a cheque acc... Hello, why should I open a cheque acc if you fail to help open a 'small savings acc'. Till today no one has gotten back to me. Does this mean I have to beg Absa to give them business or what? Someone from Absa must please tell me where my documents I emailed to them are...
