The time is not 10:51am on Tuesday 15th of October 2013. Just received a second call from ABSA Call Centre regarding my New Check Account.
I Opened a cheque account months ago, ever since the day I opened it, I applied 2 times for my card and was told not to worry, they will let me know when my card is at the bank for collection and then I can activate my account. NOTHING! NIKS! NADA! ZIPO!
Now out of the blue they phone me demanding the a R200 odd rand that is in a negative on my account!
HOW THE CAN I PAY FOR A SERVICE I CAN NOT EVEN USE DUE TO ABSA's USELESS ADMINISTRATION SKILLS???!!!
For the past 12Years I've been a ABSA client with no problems on my account! I think the time has come to part ways and move to a more efficient bank that is serious about Business and not trying to me over and take my money!
PS: They will probably want to give me a "BAD" score in my credit record because I dare to stand up against their nonsense!
I'll be expecting a call before the close of business TODAY!
