Bad service

I recently applied for a discovery card and as I am an existing Discovery client, I thought the whole process would not be a hassle. I was constantly in touch with discovery when I was applying for my card. but the issue of the police clearance came about. I sent in my form from the SAPS that shows that I have requested one. now a lot of paper work is required. the fellow I spoke to was not at all assisting and I felt that being an existing discovery client does not mean anything. the police clearance itself will take about 3 weeks and I was informed that I would have to cancel my existing application. to me that is bad service and false information as in the list of requirements the police clearance was not requested..
