AFRICAN - 48 HOURS FEEDBACKor48DAYS?

My life partner applied for a loan on Thursday 26 September 2013, and signed all the documentation as requested, even was provided with his credit card (not activated yet). He was promised that the money would be paid into his account and onto his credit card, within 48 hours. It is not Tuesday and when he phoned the branch this morning, he just is being told that the application is still for assessment and head office.
WE URGENTLY NEED FEEDBACK PLEASE!
