To whom this may concern,

I applied for a loan online and was given a loan offer of R11 000 with a credit card of R4 000. I then received a call from African Head office and answered questions for - 30 min and was advised that the loan had been approved and that I was to visit the nearest African Branch within 5 days which I did.

I went into the Festival Mall Branch this past Sunday 24.02.2013 where I handed in all the required documents, I then received a Blue Credit card which I signed for and activated in the branch, which is still not functional. My question is why should I go through the entire process sign and activate a card just for my application to be rejected?? I applied for the loan because the rates are low and very reasonable and as I have been recently divorced, I need these funds to settle my debt and eventually start getting back on my feet again and this loan would cover everything that I needed.
