Credit card lack of feedback

I applied online for credit and received a offer for a loan and credit card. Did a telephonic application as well and got the same offer. I went into the branch and provided all the relevant documents signedf the contract but i did not take up the offer for the loan only the credit card. I was the given a card and it was activated in the branch. I still have not received feedback as yet from african bank i called customer care and they said it was under managers reveiw, i have been a loyal client of african bank but im having doubts now and thinking of taking my business elsewhere. I realy need a credit card and im realy disapointed that this takes so long for a bank to give you feedback ive heard alot of rumours where clients sign documents get the card and only to hear its been declined african bank is realy taking a step backwards with their customer service please can i get my card activated
