My dad has the senior Hosp plan policy from 2004 and we are trying to claim for the first time as he was in hospital. All the call are routed to Malaysia and Philippines. No one is able to assist correctly. AIG also wants the client to pay for hospital records and I see this as absolutely unfair as to my knowledge the company pays for this as they require proof. This plan was taken for in the case of emergency and what a run around. There is no contact no for anyone in SA. If you call the no 0115518000 they route you to the call centre. This is the first time I have experience such poor and bad service from a company like AIG. Clientel Life was such a pleasure to deal with and they based in SA. Can someone in AIG SA please contact me to sort this claim out and please advise why do pensioners or any client must pay for the hospital records. After all this run around it is not worth having a policy where you spend more money on the telephone trying to get someone to assist.
