Unfair treatment

I pay nearly R500 a month for a hospital plan from Clientele. I told the person that phoned to sign us up that I have M.S. I was told that does not matter. They will pay when I go into hospital for treatment. I was admitted to hospital on the 28/1/13 for treatment. When I got to hospital they found out that I also had pneumonia. I was discharged on the 8/2/13. I contacted Lerato 11/2/13. She said that she would fax me the claim forms. On the 13/2/13 I sent an email saying that I still had not received the claim forms. She phoned me back saying I didn't get the claim forms as I can only claim from the 31/1/13. Why was I not told this when I spoke to her on 11th Why cant they pay me from the 1/2 to 8/2? I took out the policy as I don't get paid If I don't work. Clientele is just like any other insurance company. Take your monthly premiums with a smile every month but if it comes to paying out there is always an excuse why they cant pay. I'm wondering if these hospital planes ever pay out. I have a household insurance and my deep freeze broke had proof that I had bought meat did they pay NO. Go to hospital because I was sick. Do they pay? NO I don't think insurance is worth it anymore
