I was retrenched, on the 27th August, 2013. I contacted African Bank, with regards to the retrenchment insurance paid on my loan. I was asked to send the retrenchment letter, etc through to them. This was done on the 1st September, and since then, despite phone calls and e mails, no response. It is just total insanity that companies offer you these "benefits" and then when you require them, you find out it is actually a waste of time. The only way to get a response will be to return their debit order, and then for sure, I will hear from them.
