I was retrenched Sep 2012 and have a personal loan with nedbank with insurance which was to cover in case of retrenchment or death etc. I've been four times at the bank to state my case with proof of retrenchment yet no help to date.
They continue to debit me to the point it's in OD and now I'm handed over. I've time and time again called to enquire about my insurance and even contacted the insurance yet no luck. Is it not Nedbanks responsibility to ensure my cover is being met? Should I accuse nedbank of poor service? Because I surely exhausted my avenues to reach them for this assistance.
The money that I paid on the loan thus far, which I should have been covered, was meant to cover my daily expenses as I cannot afford due to retrenchment. What are my rights with the bank?
I wish to expose this matter as I'm sure I'm not the only unhappy client
