After we where informed that our property was transferred and that everything was settled we saw that FNB still debited our account for the installment amount we contacted them to only be told that this amount of R1600 was already settled we told them this is not true and luckily we still had proof that they did in fact not refund us this money after fighting with them we were told that we have to wait 40 working days YES CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS 40 WORKING DAYS before they will refund our money that they wrongly debited from our account. I said to them this was unacceptable and that I am going to take this up with the ombudsman and that I require a letter which states they will only pay the money back in 40 working days, I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO SEND THAT LETTER TO ME VIA EMAIL. THERE SERVICE IS REALLY PATHETIC AND WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE, AND JUST TO REITERATE THIS IS THE 5TH TIME I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS BANK.
