Banks have done it again!!!

I am fuming right now. In 2011 May I took a loan with Capitec. I signed a contract agreeing for my account to be debited on the 26th of each month. In December of that year Capitec debited my account on the 15 cause "most companies" pay their employees on the 15. No one called to find out if that will be the case with me. Today I wake up to find that my account was debited 3 days prior to the agreed date. To my apparently "Very Naive" knowledge contracts are BINDING to ALL the parties entering an agreement. Also it is my believe that "MY" bank account is exactly that mine, not ours cause I owe you unless this is not the case. Please let me know. Please explain why on earth did I sign a contract if it doesn't mean anything. Does this mean I can now stop paying the loan since the agreement is not binding? Or is it only a one sided agreement and Capitec doesn't have to stick to the agreement. In the almost 3 years NEVER ONCE was there an unpaid for this loan but today the 23rd of September my account is sitting on a minus. Like I said I'm clearly "VERY NAIVE" so I need this explained to me. Don't call to apologise all I need is an explanation about an agreement I know I have.
