Case sorted within 5 hours!

Really impressed with FNB's service today.
09h33 - R 1, 239 deducted from my account.
09h36 - Phoned the FNB Premier banking hotline. Immediate pick-up and service, verify my identity and put me through to the hotline. Charles stopped my cards less than 10 minutes after the transaction went through. Ordered my new card for delivery to my branch on Friday, reassured me of the process and told me all there is to know about the transaction.
12:10 - I walk into the Menlyn Square FNB branch. 12:21 I have my new temporary card with a new pin and card number.
12:25 - I phone the hotline to confirm receipt of my forms. Chadwin Jansen then told me that the transaction is only reserved for purchase but that the transaction cannot merely be stopped. He then said that I can forward the forms to his work email address that he could action it quicker.
14:21 - An SMS comes through notifying me that the transaction was cancelled and the case cleared.

This process would usually take 6 - 8 weeks.
I now have a free account, my money back and a new temp card and a brand new chipped card to be collected Friday with very little effort and sorted within 5 hours.
