Over a week to process vehicle finance application

Just over a month ago I contacted Standard Bank regarding vehicle finance and the outcome was that I was pre-approved the vehicle finance.
When I found the car that I wanted to purchase (a private sale) I contacted Moses Mohlamme, the head of VAF at Centurion who told me that the process would take one day to complete.
Its been over a week since and the deal is yet to be finalised. I am receiving poor customer service-they fail to provide me with feedback re the status of my application. I am having to make countless calls to them, with them mostly being busy or not able to take my calls.
Furthermore, when they informed me that the contract was almost completed, they processed the application with the incorrect vehicle. Hence, the process needed to begin again. Also the lady processing the application Joy said that Moses did not provide her with any of the documents that I sent him which resulted in further delays.
I am receiving terrible customer service-which is disturbing since I am a client for over 10 years as well as being a Prestige customer.
Furthermore they are now quoting me an interest rate of 11.8% higher than when I was given a pre-approval rate of 10.8% which is still high.
