FNB refusing to close my bank account

I am trying to close my current account with FNB for the last month, I am having no joy. The account was opened in PMB and I have relocated to JHB. I went into to the Killarney branch 3 times already. They apparently cannot help me because I am high risk. I am paying banking fees on an account that I am not using which seems quite unfair. There is a credit balance on the account. Can anybody assist?
