ABSA continues billing me for my credit card

I tried today for the 6th time to explain to the ABSA credit card department, that I have cancelled my card 18 months ago and that I am not prepared to pay the accumulated amount of R72 for the actual card.
I have tried it so so often, they either promise me to send me a proof of cancellation (2 weeks ago) or they put the phone down on me (twice today) or they give me another number (where nobody picks up). I am sick and tired of this and I hope through this portal somebody can help me. The best joke is that they ask me for my credit card number when I phone... haha - I don't have an ABSA one, since 18 months...
