I have an access bond home loan with Standard bank, which I have held for 10 years. I move money from my personal and business accounts to and from the access bond, on a monthly basis. On Monday, 2nd September I tried to transfer funds from the access bond into my current account, and was unable to. On querying this with home loans, they said it was an error on their side and that all would be sorted out by Friday, 6th September. It is now coming up for 3 weeks, after many lengthy phone calls, reference numbers, emails etc there is still no progress and no one to take responsibility for this. As a result, I was unable to pay my accounts, therefore unable to purchase on the accounts, which has made a huge impact on my business. I am a builder, and rely on these account purchases for the daily running of my business, and as such my income. The money is my money, and you have no right to deny me access to it. I cannot believe that in nearly 3 weeks, no one has been able to sort this out - frustrated & disgusted in the service (or lack thereof) that I have received in trying to sort out the problem. This is utterly unacceptable.
