I went into the branch in order to arrange for my internet banking transfer limit to be increased because of a loan amount that I had to repay an investor. I was told that it would take 24 hours. The next day I could not transfer the funds because the limit had not been increased. Seeing as this was now a Saturday there was no-one who was able to assist me over the phone.
The interest that I am paying my investor is R 1 000.00 per day, and so Standard Bank has already cost me at least R 2 000.00 due to their inability to deliver a service which I consider to be basic.
Standard Bank's slogan is "Moving Forward". No movement as far as I am concerned...
