Begging for Service

On the 10th September I requested a new credit card as my current one was expiring end of November. I requested for it to be processed urgently, mainly because I had urgent purchases for December. The call centre obtained approvals and was promised that it will be delivered at the branch in 3 to 3 days, and the branch will contact me.

My 5th day was yesterday, so today I called to follow up, and was told that it was delivered at Brooklyn. I went to Brooklyn and found that the package was indeed delivered on the 16th but for some reason the Branch felt it was not necessary to alert me. According to the Courier details it was delivered in good time for me to be alerted for delivery, but hey, I have to follow-up on a service I am entitled it, beg the branch to care about my urgency. With how things were standing, I was going to get an SMS for collection either on the 18th or later, just because the branch felt like it. Should we really beg for service, even after begging for the card to be processed urgently?
