I have been paying insurance to affinity from 2 years ago when i purchased my vehicle to date.i have not made a single claim. However on the 29 July 2013 I was involved in a minor accident. The day that i signed up with Affinity i handed a copy of my car certificate. This accident took place on work premesis so the police were not present. i reported this accident a the nearest station and thereafter handed all the necessary documents to affinity.i had waited for days not a call asking me or liasing about the accident and the payout.i called and was asked for the original report and a car certificate which was they responsibilty to have as they were sent a copy.i had to take a day of unpaid leave and pay fees for all these documents. I called again because theres no response and was told they want the original certificate or i will have to pay a minimum of R5000.I am digusted with they service. I have dealt with other insurances which was a pleasure. They call centre is useless. I sent the original accident report still no response.
