I went to ABSA to convert my account to one of your Value Bundle packages.
After waiting for over 90 minutes to get assistance, I was finally called into a consultant's office. The lady was very unwelcoming and had to force a greeting out of her. This raised a red flag for me.
Once we got to the reason I was there, she choose to answer the phone while I was in the middle of explaining to her I needed clarity on how she responded to my original query.
I had to walkout while she attended to the more important phone call. After all the time I spent in that branch, I had to leave without being assisted. All that time wasted for nothing. This is ridiculous and I expected much better from your branch representatives.
Another thing, is 'We are offline', ABSA branch employees' code for I am on an unauthorised break? As one of the consultants who was asked to help me kept saying she was offline whilst her other colleagues were working on the system.
I understand this is a generalised message but please encourage your staff to give us the sort of service we deserve.
